Online Update
Keyman Desktop will check for updates automatically once a week, if the Check for Updates option is set. When an update is found, Keyman Desktop will download and install the update automatically, once you click .
Tip
You should exit Keyman Desktop (apart from the Keyman Desktop Configuration application which is downloading the update) and Keyman Developer before installing any updates to Keyman Desktop.
This dialog will give you a file size for the download. Most updates will take only a minute or so to download and install, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
You can check for updates at any time by clicking from the Support tab of Keyman Configuration.
Tip
On Windows Vista, you will be prompted to allow the installation to continue. The UAC shield icon will appear if an update requires administrative approval. For example, this can happen when installing a patch update or updating a keyboard for all users.
