Canadian Multilingual Standard Basic Keyboard Help

This keyboard layout is based on the keyboard layout from Windows 10.

This keyboard makes extensive use of deadkeys. Typing the deadkey before the base character will output the combined character. For example:

^a will produce â (available on aAcCeEgGhHiIjJoOsSuUwWyY).

¨a will produce ä (available on aAeEiIoOuUy).

`a will produce à (available on aAeEiIoOuU).

´a will produce á (available on aAcCeEiIlLnNoOrRsSuUyYzZ).

¯a will produce ā (available on aAeEiIoOuU).

~n will produce ñ (available on aAiInNoOuU).

¸c will produce ç (available on cCgGkKlLnNrRsStT).

·c will produce ċ (available on cCeEgGIzZ).

˛a will produce ą (available on aAeEiIuU).

˚a will produce å (available on oOuU).

˘a will produce ă (available on aAgGuU).

˝o will produce ő (available on oOuU).

ˇc will produce č (available on cCdDeElLnNrRsStTzZ).

Due to the size and number of keys, some characters are hidden in the long press. Press and hold on the key with a little dot on the top right to reveal them.

The deadkeys that are on the desktop layout are on a longpress key to the right of the spacebar.
