Esperanto Plus Keyboard Help
This keyboard is designed to simplify the input of the Esperanto special characters, add the main suffixes and facilitate the writing of the most common words and phrases.
Special letters
On physical keyboards, type "x" after "c, g, h, j, s, u", to write the letters "ch, g, ch, j, sh, w". Type "x" again, to write the original letter followed by an "x". The same applies to the capital letters "C, G, H, J, S, U". You can also type "X" instead of "x".
On touch keyboards are additional special keys, to type the letters "ĉ, ĝ, ĥ, ĵ, ŝ, ŭ".
Suffixes
On touch keyboards, press the function keys (-n, -o, -i, -nt-, -t-, -ig-), to alternate between the most used suffixes and endings. As an example, the first rule means that, by pressing the "-n" key, the -n ending is set or unset to a word. If the root already contains a sequence of letters equal to some suffix (-ant-, -int-, -ont-, -at-, -it-, -ot-, -ig-, -iľ-), to add that suffix, press the "radiko" key first.
Frequent words and phrases
Sequences of letters that automatically lengthen into the corresponding words or sentences, only when word-initial. Initial letters are automatically capitalized depending on position.
Dictionary
Speciala Esperanta vortaro estis kreita por la klavaro Esperanto Plus, por uzo kun tuŝaparatoj, kiu montras sugestojn de la plej oftaj vortoj respondaj al la liteorj enigitaj per la klavaro. A special Esperanto dictionary has been created for the Esperanto Plus keyboard, for use with touch devices, which shows suggestions of the most common words corresponding to the letters entered by the keyboard.
