Malar Braille Keyboard Help

Malar Braille Keyboard is designed to type Unicode Braille Patterns using a normal English (QWERTY) keyboard. In this keyboard s d f g h j k l Space keys are used for Braille Patterns Dots 7 3 2 1 4 5 6 8 Blank respectively. w t y o keys are used for backspacing and clearing.

BRAILLE DOT NUMBERING

To type a Braille Pattern, firstly type pattern number codes using keys , then press the space . It will convert the number code to Braille Pattern. To insert a blank pattern, press the the space . User should type numbers carefully. Repetition of a number in code will give wrong braille pattern. Even if the numbers are typed disorderly, the keyboard will process correctly. The result of g f d h j s Space and the result of h s f g j d Space will be . Use w or o if you need backspace. If necessary, use t or y to clear the typed numbers before press the space .
