Supported Windows Operating Systems

Keyman fully supports 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the following Windows operating systems:

  • Windows 7
  • Windows 8
  • Windows 8.1
  • Windows 10
  • Windows 11
  • Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2
  • Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2

Note: Keyman works slightly differently in different versions of Windows. Older versions of Windows have more language limitations and need extra configuration.

Resource Requirements

Keyman has minimal resource requirements. Any computer that can run Windows 7 should be able to run Keyman without trouble.
